Our website is on the verge of reconstruction.
“Reconstruction” may bring to mind “Flip or Flop”, “Property Brothers” or perhaps “Love it or List it”, programs popularized on HGTV. This is not the reconstruction of which we speak.
Those shows are about residential construction………this about the magic of internet land.
Those shows involve a remodel…….this won’t be a remodel, but a redo, from scratch, new foundation, walls, rooms, everything.
Come to think of it, wonder if the power(s) that be may authorize a sport court, beautiful new backboard and rim, three point line, lighted, all that goes with it? (Sorry, went off the tracks there for a moment, but give me a break, let a guy dream).
We are working with some great web designers, identity revealed upon roll-out of the new site. Stay tuned, in the spirit of this hyperbole riddled political season, we think the new one will be incredible, (said humbly).
On the “verge” is actually fairly accurate. We are on the “edge or border” of taking down the old site, putting up a temporary placeholder page until the work is complete, one image with brief information about the winery, hours and contact information.
Beyond that, at the moment, it means a site sadly overdue for this work is nonfunctional, in transition between an old world and a newer one, a way station on the road to the promised-land itself, a brand new website.
It will take us awhile. Striving to achieve the best should not be rushed. Thanks for your patience during this effort. Meanwhile, you can find us on Facebook.
I know, it has nothing to do with this, but still find myself thinking about that sport court……and in search of thepower(s) that be.
We are open in the winery tomorrow, Saturday, July 16, noon-4pm. The Red Willow Vineyard Sangiovese “Ursula” and lineup of Cabernets currently being tasted are delightful. We will be pleased to see you.
